In 2020, when the pandemic hit, I returned to India and continued my studies remotely. Led by my curiosity, I reached out to several Indian design studios, and the multidisciplinary approach of Aaquib Wani Design particularly appealed to me. After a few conversations with Aaquib Wani, I secured a temporary position as a junior designer, assisting the studio on the NH7 Weekender project. For this project, we brought the festival into a 3D digital space. With social distancing measures in place, the event was hosted online for the first—and ultimately the last—time. It was a particularly fun challenge, as we optimized a 3D interface for the web and created brand assets for the head sponsor, Bacardi, and its sub‑brands Dewars and Breezer, in a clay‑animation‑inspired style. I contributed to 3D asset creation as well as graphic design. Most of this work was completed while I was attending online school, juggling a nine‑to‑five studio schedule and then catching up on my U.S. time‑based classes from India.
